On August 14, 2023, at 4:00 PM, the Stuart City Commission had its regular meeting in the Commission Chambers, which are situated at 121 SW Flagler Ave., Stuart, Florida. Commissioners Eula R. Clarke, Christopher Collins, Campbell Rich, and Vice Mayor Becky Bruner were present at the meeting, which was chaired by Mayor Troy McDonald. The appointment of a Community Redevelopment Board (CRB) member for the remainder of the term was ratified by the passing of Resolution No. 64-2023.
Commission Action:
- Appointment of Community Redevelopment Board (CRB) “At Large” Member (RC)
The Community Redevelopment Board (CRB) now has a “At Large” member appointed for a term ending December 31, 2023, according to the adoption of Resolution No. 62-2023.
- Road Closure for the 50th Annual Stuart Boat Show (RC)
The 50th Annual Stuart Boat Show authorized a road closure from January 9 to January 15, 2024, with Resolution No. 58-2023 being passed.
- Legislative Priorities for the 2024 Florida Legislative Session (RC)
The city’s legislative priorities for the forthcoming 2024 Florida Legislative Session were outlined in Resolution No. 56-2023, which was approved.
